Denver Post writer Adrian Dater is reporting that Avalanche defenseman Kyle Quincey is out for an indeterminate time with a shoulder injury he suffered after hitting the boards hard during the game against the Washington Capitals.
Lake Erie defenseman Kyle Montgomery has been called up in place of Quincey. The 22 year old defenseman lists as 6’2" and 188 pounds, and has played in 25 games for Lake Erie this season. He has one goal and 11 assists on the year.
