Rookie Defenseman Jonas Holos Reassigned To Lake Erie

Stay connected for news and updates

Rookie defenseman Jonas Holos, a surprise addition to the Avalanche roster out of training camp, has been sent down to AHL Lake Erie to make room for the return of Kyle Quincey, who has been recovering from a concussion.

Holos has played well in his opportunities, but there is simply not room on the current roster with more veteran players getting healthy. At Lake Erie, he will get consistent playing time, an important factor for his development. Holos had been a healthy scratch the past two games.

Holos has played in 12 games this season, with 2 assists on 19 shots.
