US PRESSWIRE

The Broncos offense has scored 30 or more in six of its last seven games while the Raiders defense gives up more points than any team in the NFL.

Unsurprisingly, the Denver Broncos are big favorites against the Oakland Raiders after seven consecutive victories that were enough to clinch the AFC West after just 13 weeks.

Thursday Night Football games traditionally favor the home team because the short week is made even shorter for an away team as it has to travel. Despite that, the Broncos are favored by 10.5 points, or as much as 11.5 in some sportsbooks, according to OddsShark.

The Raiders earned back-to-back wins in the last two weekends of October, but have since lost five straight to drop to 3-9. No team in the NFL has given up more points than the Raiders, but this struggling will defense will have to slow a Broncos offense that has scored 30 or more points in six of its last seven games.

Because of this mismatch between the Denver offense and the Oakland defense, the over/under for the game is set at a relatively high 49 points, one of the highest of Week 14.
