Broncos vs. Ravens score update: Denver leads, 17-0, at halftime

USA TODAY Sports

A Chris Harris 98-yard interception return has extended the lead for Denver to 17-0 over the Baltimore Ravens, which is where the game stands at halftime.

In a clash of two first-place AFC teams, the Denver Broncos lead the Baltimore Ravens, 17-0, at halftime in Baltimore, Md.

Denver held a 3-0 lead at the end of the first quarter after a 27-yard field goal from Matt Prater. The Broncos added to it early on in the second when Jacob Hester scored on a run from one yard out. That ended an 11-play, 78-yard drive to open the quarter for the Broncos.

Denver tacked on seven more in the final seconds of the half when Chris Harris returned an interception 98 yards for a touchdown.

On the other end, the defense stepped up and continued to give the Ravens and quarterback Joe Flacco problems. Along with the crucial interception, Flacco is just 7 of 15 for 78 yards at the break.

As a team, Denver has allowed Baltimore just 119 yards. Ray Rice has rushed for 23 of them on seven carries. The Broncos' defense has been led by Champ Bailey, who has four tackles.

On the other side of the ball, Knowshon Moreno has run for 74 yards on 13 carries. Eric Decker has five receptions for 54 yards.
