Denver Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter is awaiting clearance from doctors to play football. The fifth-year veteran experienced seizure-related symptoms before the Broncos traveled to San Diego for an Oct. 15 game, and he has not played in a game since.

Porter signed a one-year deal with Denver this past offseason, and suffered a seizure during training camp in August. He started for the Broncos until the seizure-related symptoms recurred on Oct. 14. Porter participated in a full practice last Thursday, but did not make the trip to Cincinnati for the team's game there Sunday. Whether Porter will have a job when he returns is in question. Chris Harris will continue to start across from Champ Bailey in Porter's place, with Tony Carter getting snaps as the nickel back.

Guard Chris Kuper also did not participate in Broncos practice Thursday. Kuper sprained his right ankle in Sunday's 31-23 win over Cincinnati, and is expected to miss two to four weeks.
