NFL Injury Report: Broncos' Chris Kuper injured in win

The Denver Broncos won their third straight game on Sunday when they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 31-23. Denver's win, however, came with a price, as offensive lineman Chris Kuper was forced from the game with a "severe" ankle sprain, and could wind up missing some time with the injury.

Though Kuper is surely frustrated with the injury, he and Broncos fans, are almost certainly relieved that the injury is merely a sprain. Kuper suffered a dislocation to the same ankle in last year's season finale, and also suffered a fractured forearm earlier in training camp this season.

It's unknown for how long Kuper will be sidelined.

Denver also caught a break on Sunday, as wide receiver Demaryius Thomas fell to the ground with a knee injury after hauling in a 45-yard reception. Thomas, however, only missed a few snaps, and finished the game with six catches for 77 yards.

Cornerback Tracy Porter missed his third straight game on Sunday with an illness. Porter was diagnosed with onset symptoms of a seizure, and the team is rightfully taking a cautious route with him.
