The Denver Broncos are on the road in Week 6, facing off with San Diego on Monday night. If the team can get turnovers under control, they can improve to .500 with a win.
The Denver Broncos will face the San Diego Chargers in the Monday Night Football matchup for Week 6. Both teams are looking to rebound from a loss: Denver is 2-3 after a 31-21 loss against the New England Patriots, while the Chargers are 3-2 despite a 31-24 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Turnovers have plagued the Broncos through the first five weeks of the season, with Peyton Manning throwing three interceptions and the rest of the team combining for 10 fumbles lost. Demaryius Thomas, who leads the team in rushing with 513 yards, is responsible for three of those fumbles. Willis McGahee, the leading receiver, has two. On defense, the Broncos have only two interceptions, a total that ties them for third worst in the league.
Despite the turnovers, Denver has put together a top 10 offense. The Broncos are averaging 27 points and 390 yards per game, good for ninth in the league in both categories.
Odds: San Diego opened as the 3-point favorite
