The Broncos hit the road to take on the NFL's best offense, the Patriots, in New England.
The Denver Broncos hit the road for a long road trip in week five, flying to Massachusetts for a cross-divisional matchup against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The Broncos (2-2) bounced back from consecutive losses last week with a convincing 37-6 win over the Oakland Raiders. Peyton Manning posted an efficient, productive line of 30-38 for 338 yards and three touchdowns in the win, as the Denver offense totaled 503 yards on the day. The Bronco defense also tightened up a bit, allowing the Raiders just 56 rushing yards.
The Patriots (2-2) also came back from two straight losses (which came by a combined three points), blowing out the Buffalo Bills on the road to the tune of 52-28. In addition to 340 passing yards from Tom Brady, New England also had two 100-yard rushers in Brandon Bolden and Stevan Ridley en route to 45 second-half points. The team's 33.5 points and 438 yards per game both rank first in the NFL.
The game is set to air on CBS and will kick at 2:25 p.m. MT.
