Peyton Manning will get to face Drew Brees for the first time since Super Bowl XLIV, that matchup saw Brees defeat Manning for the championship. This time around, Manning will be looking for some revenge with his new Denver Broncos team this Sunday night.
This is not the same Saints team that Manning faced when he was a member of the Indianapolis Colts, the Saints are struggling mightily this year and are just 2-4. The Broncos started slow, but have picked up over the past few games by going 2-1. Plus, Manning is slowly returning to his pre-injury form by having four straight games of 300 or more yards passing, and 10 touchdowns to just one interception during that same stretch.
Brees and the Saints offense has been good this year, but it has been their defense which has struggled. They are 30th in passing yards allowed, 31st in rushing yards allowed and are giving up 30 points per game.
