Denver Broncos' cornerback Tracy Porter has been sidelined of late because the team's medical staff is taking precautionary measures after he showed similar symptoms to a seizure he suffered in August, according to a report from the Denver Post.

The fifth-year pro out of Indiana experienced light-headedness and an elevated heart rate last Sunday as the Broncos prepared to leave for San Diego for a game against the Chargers. The symptoms were like what he experienced before the seizure he suffered between the team's preseason game against the Chicago Bears and their second preseason game in Seattle against the Seahawks . The Broncos' medical staff kept him off the team's flight to San Diego and he did not play in Denver's 35-24 win over the Chargers in Week 6.

Porter, who was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week after the teams season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, is still awaiting clearance from the team's medical staff and was held out of practice on Thursday.
