The 3-3 Denver Broncos will host the 2-4 New Orleans Saints this Sunday for Sunday Night Football, and experts are leaning toward a Broncos victory.
New Orleans is coming off back-to-back victories against the San Diego Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers after starting the year 0-4. Led by Drew Brees, the Saints have the NFL's top passing attack through six games. Brees has completed 61% of his passes for 18 touchdowns while throwing for 335 yards per game.
On defense, however, the Saints struggle, ranking dead last in yards allowed at 466 yards per game.
The Broncos are coming off a bye week after claiming a 35-24 win over the San Diego Chargers in week six. Behind Peyton Manning, the Broncos' passing game isn't far behind the Saints. Manning throws for 291 yards per game, completing 68% of his passes for 14 touchdowns and only four interceptions.
On CBSSports.com, their crew of experts gives slight edge to New Orleans, with five of eight pickers taking the Saints. At ESPN.com, however, all nine experts have picked the Broncos, as has the Accuscore prediction. Two of the three Yahoo! Sports pickers say Denver will win, in addition to the majority of Yahoo! users.
