Following their comeback victory over the San Diego Chargers, the Denver Broncos are tied for the top spot in the AFC West. They have now finished their bye week and will face off against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in this week's Sunday night matchup.
The Saints have struggled so far in 2012, stumbling to a 2-4 record. Those two wins have come in a row though, as the Saints took down the San Diego Chargers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the past two weeks thanks to their powerful offense. Drew Brees has been his usual self this season and has begun to get back to his monstrous form in the past few weeks.
It has been their defense that has given them problems this season more than their offense, and they'll be taking on a Broncos' offense that has not scored fewer than 21 points in any game this season. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees facing off will be one of the more marquee quarterback matchups of the weekend.
The game will be at Sports Authority Field at 6:20 p.m. MT. Early indications are that the Broncos will be favored, if only slightly, in the game. They are currently a 4½-point favorite.
