The Denver Broncos are on bye in Week 7, and have to feel good about where they stand, coming off a memorable comeback win over the AFC West rival San Diego Chargers on Monday night. The Broncos improved to 3-3 with the win and moved into first in the division, after playing through what was considered the league's 2nd toughest schedule before the season started. The Broncos return to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 8 on Sunday Night Football.
In fact, all but the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West are off this week, as the Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs are also on bye. Oakland will host the Jacksonville Jaguars at 2:25 p.m. Sunday.
There's still no shortage of action for any football fan this week, though. Week 7 kicks off Thursday night with a big NFC West matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.
Broncos fans will likely be interested in three big AFC matchups with likely playoff implications on Sunday: Baltimore at Houston at 11 a.m., New York Jets at New England at 2:25 p.m. and Pittsburgh at Cincinnati at 6:20 p.m.
