The Denver Broncos, fresh off a 37-6 victory over the Oakland Raiders, will travel to New England to face the Patriots during Week 5. Will Peyton Manning come out on top or will Tom Brady have the last laugh?
The Denver Broncos (2-2) dominated the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, 37-6, to avoid losing three games in a row and now they will look to make it two wins in a row when they take on the New England Patriots (2-2) on Sunday. The Patriots, meanwhile, enters this game with a 52-28 victory over the Buffalo Bills. After being down 21-7 early in the third quarter, Tom Brady directed the Patriots to six consecutive touchdown drives for the win.
Brady, who threw for 340 yards and three touchdown passes against the Bills, will face Peyton Manning for the first time since the 2010 season, when Manning was with the Indianapolis Colts. Manning, who threw for 338 yards and three touchdown passes, is looking to come away with the victory this time. The Patriots won that contest at Gillette Stadium on Nov. 21, 31-28.
Manning wasn't at his most accurate in that contest. While he did throw four touchdown passes, three interceptions haunted the Colts. Leading the team in a two-minute drill in the fourth quarter, Manning brought his team to New England's 24-yard-line, but a deep pass to Pierre Garcon was intercepted by James Sanders at the 6-yard line, effectively deciding the outcome of the game with 31 seconds left on the clock.
Can Manning pick up his first road victory with the Broncos on Sunday?
