Boise State is favored in its Las Vegas Bowl matchup against Washington.

The Boise State Broncos are headed to the Las Vegas Bowl to play the Washington Huskies out of the Pac-12 and have opened as 6-point favorites. That line has since moved to 5 1/2 on some gaming sites, including Five Dimes, Bet Online and Just Bet, according to the latest odds from Odds Shark. The over/under opened at 46.

Boise State (10-2) was tough to get a read on this season, finishing the regular season an even 6-6 against the spread. The Broncos failed to cover in a win their last time out as a 7.5-point favorite over the Nevada Wolfpack. The Huskies were 7-5 overall and 7-5 against the spread.

Boise State won the Mountain West with a 7-1 conference record, due mainly to a defense that emerged as one of the best in the country. The Broncos rank No. 9 in the nation in total defense.

The Maaco Las Vegas Bowl between the Boise State Broncos and Washington Huskies takes place on Dec. 22.
