Boise State, BYU and Utah State are all expected to make bowl games come the end of the season.

Boise State might have fallen out of favor a bit after losing to San Diego State, but they are still expected to go bowling come the end of the season. According to SB Nation's latest bowl projections, the Boise State Broncos can probably be expected to take on the BYU Cougars in the Poinsettia Bowl. Utah State is also given a bowl nod by the projections, facing off against the Kent State Golden Flashes in the Idaho Potatoes Bowl.

The BCS National Championship Game will host the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oregon Ducks if the projections are correct in the end, two of the few remaining undefeated teams in the nation. In the other BCS bowls, the projections have Oklahoma taking on Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, Florida State meeting Louisville in the Orange Bowl, and USC taking on Nebraska in the Rose Bowl.

Beyond Boise State and the two teams from Utah, no other teams from the Rocky Mountain region appear likely to earn spots in bowls, with teams like Colorado, Colorado State and Wyoming all faltering at the bottom of their conferences in 2012.
