The Boise State Broncos might not be at the top of everyone's mind when thinking about prime BCS candidates, but that doesn't mean they aren't making noise on the national scene. A 45-14 thrashing of Wyoming this week brought Boise up to No. 14 in this week's Coaches' Poll, up four spots from last week.
The win was highlighted by 31-straight points from the Broncos, including a 28-yard run by Shane Williams-Rhodes. Boise State hosts San Diego State this Saturday and will look to stay unbeaten in conference play.
Elsewhere in the polls, Alabama and Oregon retained the top two spots as the two may be on a collision course to meet in the National Championship game. Meanwhile, Florida, USC and Rutgers were all upset this week and they all dropped as a result.
Nebraska (21), Louisiana Tech (23) and Oklahoma State (24) all entered the Coaches' Poll this week.
