Boise State will try to keep boosting their stock in the Mountain West Conference when they face Wyoming on Saturday.
Boise State got a boost in their race for the Mountain West Conference title when the Nevada Wolf Pack lost to San Diego State, leaving the Broncos as the only undefeated team left in the conference. They took down UNLV during their 'blackout' game on Saturday and will be riding plenty of momentum into their game against the Wyoming Cowboys.
Oddsmakers have the Broncos as a large favorite to win, and the statistics alone are enough to see why. Boise has played with staunch defense all season long, allowing over 17 points only once.
Wyoming's offense has threatened their opponents decently this season, but their defense has given up far too many points, losing games with scorelines of 40-37, 34-31 and 28-27 all season long. They have lost three straight since getting their only win of the season against the Idaho Vandals in September.
The game may be in Wyoming, but it would still be an enormous upset if the Broncos were unable to pull out the victory over the reeling Cowboys.
Game time, TV channel: 1:30 p.m. MT, CBS
Point spread: Boise State favored by 17 points.
