When the Week 9 BCS rankings are revealed on Sunday evening (6:30 p.m. MT, ESPN), we shouldn't expect any surprises in the top spots. No. 1 Alabama dispatched Tennessee, 44-13, and No. 2 Florida defeated No. 7 South Carolina, 44-11. Both teams are 7-0.

While drastic movement in the remainder of the top five won't happen, seeing No. 4 Kansas State (7-0) move ahead of No. 3 Oregon (7-0) could happen. The computer rankings certainly like Kansas State with an average of 4 while Oregon comes in at 6, but the voters in the Coaches and Harris polls will need to move the Wildcats ahead of the Ducks, who currently are No. 2 in both. Only 0.0030 separated the teams last week.

South Carolina was the only top 10 teams to lose, but we'll see a few other teams in the top 25 drop. No. 13 West Virginia lost to Kansas State, 55-14, for its second defeat of the season; No. 18 Texas A&M dropped a 24-19 decision to No. 6 LSU; No. 21 Cincinnati lost its first game of the season, 29-23, to Toledo; No. 23 TCU lost in triple overtime to No. 17 Texas Tech, 56-53; and Oklahoma State walloped No. 24 Iowa State, 31-10.

No. 22 Boise State could move into the top 20 following a 32-7 victory over UNLV. However, most of that will be due to rising in the Coaches and Harris polls, as the computers don't like the Broncos and a 1-7 UNLV team won't help matters.
