College Football Rankings 2012: Boise State receives votes for BlogPoll

Winners of three straight after an opening week loss to Michigan State, Boise State received votes but failed to crack the Top 25 in the BlogPoll.

The Boise State Broncos received votes for the SB Nation BlogPoll but failed to crack the top 25 after narrowly defeating BYU and New Mexico the past two weeks. The Broncos have won the last two games by a combined four points.

The Broncos defeated New Mexico last Saturday, 32-29, for their first conference win the of the season to improve to 3-1 on the season. Boise State has won three straight games after suffering an opening night loss to then 13th ranked Michigan State. Michigan State is also not in the top 25 in the BlogPoll after they suffered their second loss of the season to 12th ranked Ohio State.

Boise State is currently ranked 25th in the USA Today Poll but dropped out of the AP Poll after their narrow victory last Saturday.
