Neither Boise State nor Utah State earned a spot in the BlogPoll Top 25, but each received votes.
While a 20-10 victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs was enough to earn Boise State the No. 24 spot in the AP Poll and No. 22 in the USA Today coaches' poll, they're still on the outside of the most recent BlogPoll Top 25 from SB Nation.
Instead the last spot in the top 25 went to the Michigan Wolverines after a 45-0 dismantling of Illinois, while the Broncos had to settle as the top team among the others receiving votes. Also receiving votes in the poll were the Utah State Aggies. With a dominating 49-27 win over San Jose State to make up for a 6-3 loss to BYU, the Aggies drew some votes to sneak in to the very bottom of the poll.
Unsurprisingly, the top spot in the poll went to the Alabama Crimson Tide, although they were not the only team to receive votes for the top spot. Florida received four, Notre Dame four, Oregon three, while Kansas State and Ohio State each received one.
