Stay connected for news and updates

The Boise State Broncos received more total points in Week 4 of SB Nation's college football rankings than in Week 3, and they find themselves knocking on the door of the BlogPoll Top 25. The Broncos appeared on 25 of the 90 ballots, with one voter ranking them as high as No. 20. Overall, Boise State was 30th in total points.

Michigan State, the Broncos' Week 1 opponent, fell to No. 22 after a loss to Notre Dame over the weekend.

Alabama strengthened its hold on No. 1, receiving 89 of 90 first-place votes. Stanford was the only other team voted No. 1, after its upset of USC this weekend. The Cardinal were a big mover in the poll, jumping 14 spots to No. 8.

LSU, Oregon, Georgia, and Florida State follow Alabama at the top of the rankings. For a complete list with analysis, head to SB Nation's BlogPoll Top 25 feature.
