Boise St. Vs. New Mexico Score Update: Broncos Dominate Opening Quarter

Stay connected for news and updates

In the final home game for the remarkable senior class that helped raise Boise St. to national prominence, the Broncos have delivered a typically dominant performance, as they lead New Mexico 21-0 after the opening quarter.

If there was any thought that Kellen Moore might show some nerves in his final game on the Blue Turf, the opening quarter surely put that to rest. Moore completed 9/11 and threw 2 TD's to help give the Broncos the comfortable lead. Moore threw TD passes to Kyle Efaw and Tyler Shoemaker. Senior RB Doug Martin has also been dominant in his final home game, rushing for 55 yards and a TD.

Defensively, the Broncos haven't allowed the Lobos to generate any sort of rhythm, limiting New Mexico to only 54 total yards. New Mexico has only three first downs and has struggled to move the ball down the field.
