I've been blogging for SB Nation since January 2009 when I took over Pickaxe and Roll to write about the Denver Nuggets. Since then SB Nation's Nuggets blog has become Denver Stiffs as I joined up with Andrew Feinstein. Our community is fast-growing and hungry to see the Nuggets sit atop the NBA.

I graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a degree in Journalism and History. While in school I interned at KDVR Fox 31 in the Sports Department. Growing up in Colorado it was important to learn the history of both the Broncos and the Nuggets to understand the gloom and the glory of the franchises. I was also able to witness, with a keen eye, the birth of both the Colorado Rockies and Avalanche as I grew up - living in history if you will.

Forever the historian I continue to study the past of my favorite sports as it helps fill in a lot of blanks. Through SB Nation I'm enjoying re-igniting my passion for writing and to top it off I get to talk Nuggets whenever I want and now I'll get to blab about all my other favorite local teams.
