The San Diego State Aztecs hold a 14-3 halftime lead over the Air Force Falcons at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. Aztecs running back Adam Muema has rushed for two touchdowns.

After Air Force got on the board first on Parker Herrington's 22-yard field goal, Muema broke off a 20-yard touchdown run with less than three minutes remaining in the first quarter to give San Diego State the lead. Muema found the end zone again at the 9:13 mark in the second quarter, capping off a 12-play, 71-yard drive with a 15-yard scoring run.

Air Force missed an opportunity to get to within one score at the end of the half when Herrington's 42-yard field goal attempt sailed wide right.

The Falcons outgained the Aztecs, 231 yards to 189, in the opening half. Seven different Air Force rushers combined to account for 185 yards on the ground.

Muema picked up 64 yards on the ground on nine carries, while fellow San Diego State running back Walter Kazee ran the ball 12 times for 73 yards.
