New Mexico vs. Air Force score: Falcons trail 10-7 in first half

Stay connected for news and updates

With the New Mexico Lobos running wild so far, the Air Force Falcons are trailing 10-7 early in the second quarter on Saturday night. New Mexico already has 207 total yards on just 26 plays, an average of nearly 10 yards per play up to this point.

One of the best rushing offenses in the nation this season, New Mexico has certainly looked the part thus far on Saturday. On just 21 carries, the Lobos offense has already rushed for 193 yards and a touchdown, led by starting running back Kasey Carrier's 174 yards.

Thanks to a big stop in the red zone and some solid offense, Air Force has stayed in the game so far. Connor Dietz has completed all three of his passes for 39 yards, plus the offense has carried the ball 12 times for 64 yards. Getting defense stops will be key going forward, though, particularly on the ground.
