The Air Force Falcons have a date with the Georgia State Panthers at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in 2014.

The Air Force Falcons and Georgia State Panthers have agreed to a home-and-home series, starting in the 2014 season with a game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga., according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's GSU Twitter feed. The two teams will meet again at the United States Air Force Academy in 2016.

Georgia State won't officially be a member of the Football Bowl Subdivision until 2014, but the Panthers will begin playing Sun Belt Conference games next season while still in their probationary period. Meanwhile, Air Force's conference status will be up in the air at that time, as the Falcons could join the Big East by then, though there's no indication that an invitation would be accepted while Mountain West diehard Michael C. Gould is still in place as the Academy's superintendent.

In addition to its agreement with Air Force, Georgia State has also solidified a visit to Morgantown, W. Va., to face the West Virginia Mountaineers next season.
