The Air Force Falcons (13-12, 3-8 MWC) lost to the UNLV Rebels (23-6, 7-4 MWC) in overtime back on Jan. 28, but they get a chance at revenge on Saturday afternoon.

The Air Force Falcons had their hearts broken the last time they played the No. 21 UNLV Runnin' Rebels, losing 65-63 in an overtime thriller on Jan. 28, but on Saturday they get a shot at revenge. The Falcons have lost eight of their last ten games and are struggling to stay out of the cellar in the Mountain West Conference, while the Rebels are just one game out of first place.

Mike Moser, a transfer from UCLA, has been one of the best players in the country. He is averaging an impressive 14.4 points and 11.7 rebounds per game, and that double-double line hits team-highs in both categories. In the first matchup back on Jan. 28, Moser scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to set up the overtime win. Senior swingman Chace Stanback is second on the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game, but he floundered in the first matchup and hit 1-10 shots for two points -- tying his season low for scoring in a single game.

Michael Lyons has been playing well recently and has scored in double-figures in four of the last five games. He averages a team-high 15.6 ppg for the Falcons, and Mike Fitzgerald is the only other player in double-figures with an average of 10.6 ppg on 48.6 percent shooting from the field. Michael Lyons produced 25 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals in the first matchup.
