Air Force Vs. LSU Score Update: Falcons Fall Against No. 8 Tigers

Stay connected for news and updates

After picking up its first win of the season earlier on Sunday, Air Force couldn't carry over the momentum in a matchup against No. 8 LSU. Despite a strong pitching performance from the bullpen, the Falcons couldn't find any answer for the dominant Kurt McCune, who threw six shutout innings in the 4-0 victory for LSU.

Michael Ceci got the start for the Falcons and made it through the first three innings without allowing a run. However, LSU scored three runs on three hits in the fourth inning to take a lead it wouldn't relinquish. Todd Del Toro replaced Ceci after the fourth inning and gave up only run in 3.1 inning of action.

The Falcons return to action next weekend when they face Navy at the Freedom Classic.
