Stay connected for news and updates

On the heels of a very impressive road victory over Wyoming, the Air Force Falcons have come out and played an excellent first half against No. 15 San Diego St. Thanks to an outstanding individual offensive performance from Michael Lyons, the Falcons and Aztecs are tied at 29 at the half.

Lyons was practically unstoppable in the opening 20 minutes, scoring a game-high 17 points on 6/10 shooting from the field. Lyons connected on 3/5 attempts from behind the arc and also recorded two steals in the opening half. Todd Fletcher was the only other offensive threat for the Falcons, as he added five points in the opening half.

Chase Tapley led the way for the Aztecs, scoring 10 points and pulling down five rebounds. Tim Shelton scored eight points and pulled down a team-high six rebounds for SDSU. The Aztecs were sloppy with the ball, committing eight turnovers.
