The Mountain West Conference has a light football schedule this week and none of them looks to be competitive.
The Mountain West Conference's schedule for Week 8 is a bit light with just three games on the schedule. None of the three games appears to be all that competitive, but Colorado State might be able to make it a fairly close game against the UTEP Miners. Here is the weekend's schedule:
New Mexico Lobos (0-6, 0-1 MWC) vs. TCU Horned Frogs (4-2, 2-0 MWC), 12:00 p.m. MT, The Mtn. - The Horned Frogs opened as 40-1/2 point favorites and it has since moved to 43 and 43-1/2 points on other lines, according to Odds Shark. The Lobos allow 44 points this season, which the Horned Frogs could easily put up.
Air Force Falcons (3-3, 0-2 MWC) vs. Boise St. Broncos (6-0. 1-0 MWC), 1:30 p.m. MT, Versus - The Broncos are favored by 30 points in this game, but the run-option offense Air Force runs could frustrate Boise State. Visit our StoryStream for more on this game.
Colorado St. Rams (3-3, 1-1 MWC) vs. UTEP Miners (3-3, 1-2 C-USA), 6:00 p.m. MT - Can the Rams pull off a road upset? They are 10-point underdogs on the road and want to turn things around after back-to-back losses to San Jose State and Boise State. It could happen. Stick with our StoryStream for more.
