The first drive for Air Force netted in a three and out with minus one yards, but then on the second drive the Air Force offense came alive. They had a drive of 11 plays, 67 yards and took over five minutes; a classic Air Force drive. The drive was all on the ground and the touchdown was scored by quarterback Tim Jefferson scoring on a third-and-goal from the three on a quarterback keeper.
