According To History, Air Force Should Keep It Close Against Utah

Stay connected for news and updates

No matter how good or bad Utah or Air Force have been when they face each other the games are always close. Going back just through this past decade there was only one game was decided by double digits, and that was in 2004. In that matchup Utah had to rally after trailing 14-0 early in the second period.

Even though Utah has had zero struggles this year in Mountain West play, the line for today's game is only a touchdown. Digging even deeper into this series, the underdog has gone 11-0-1 against the spread over the past twelve years.

If history repeats itself this game should come down to the wire, plus the Falcons have some extra motivation in this game. If they win they go bowling for the third straight year under Troy Calhoun, and the team is trying to avoid their first three game losing streak since 2008.
