Air Force Vs. Navy Score Update: Falcons Complete Sweep

Stay connected for news and updates

In the second game between the two teams today, the Air Force Falcons pulled off the sweep over Navy in the Freedom Classic with a 10-4 victory. In the earlier matchup today, the Falcons had to go extra innings to earn the 8-7 win.

Errors once again impacted an excellent performance from the Air Force starting pitcher. Michael Ceci didn't allow an earned run in his 6.2 innings and he struck out five batters. Ceci didn't allow a run until the seventh inning, which didn't have a huge impact on the game since the Falcons already led by 10 runs. Alex Bast delivered at the plate for Air Force, hitting 3/4 with three RBI's. Garrett Custons drove in two runs in the win.

Navy was led by sophomore DH Chance Jones, who drove in two runs in the loss. However, Preston Gainey struggled on the mound, allowing five runs in just 4.1 innings.
