Nuggets vs. Lakers: Denver tied 60-60 at half

It has been a high scoring affair in L.A. tonight as the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers have combined for well over 100 points in the first half. Denver and L.A. are tied 58-58 at the halftime break with Metta World Peace and Andre Iguodala each scoring 12 points for their respective teams.

The Nuggets had an explosive first quarter by scoring 34 points to L.A.'s 26. Iguodala had 8 points int he quarter as the Nuggets started hot yet again. Denver has been one of the highest scoring teams in the NBA this season, averaging more than 101 points per game.

Corey Brewer has 11 points and JaVale McGee 10 to reach double figures already for Denver. They continue their recent strong play off the bench. Defensively the Nuggets have held Kobe Bryant to just six points already, but he does have five assists.
