Colorado is in first place in the Pac-12 South even with a 1-3 overall record.
The start of the 2012 college football season was rough on the Colorado Buffaloes, but for one week at least they lead the Pac-12 South Division. Saturday's 35-34 win over Washington State in Pullman was Colorado's first victory of the year. It also leaves them in a tie with Arizona State for first place in the Division:
Colorado will host UCLA, who represented the Division in last season's Pac-12 Championship Game, next week at Folsom Field.
