The Colorado School of Mines Orediggers takes on the Black HIlls State Yellow Jackets in an RMAC battle on Saturday at noon, MT.
The Division II No. 23 Orediggers are looking to continue their stretch of dominant performances to start the season. After a 57-16 trouncing of William Jewel in Week 1, the Orediggers rolled over the South Dakota School of Mines, 71-7, to improve to 2-0.
Sophomore quarterback Matt Brown has excelled in his first two starts for the Colorado School of Mines, throwing for 707 yards for seven touchdowns and just one interception. His favorite receiver has been senior Cody Renken, who has 12 catches for 131 yards.
The Yellow Jackets faced an FCS Division I foe in their opener, Idaho State. They struggled to a 38-5 loss against the Bengals. Black Hills State finished last season with a 3-7 record.
The game will not be televised, but can be streamed for a fee at the Colorado School of Mines official site
