The latest Dwight Howard trade rumor has the Nuggets, Lakers, 76ers and Magic involved in talks on a blockbuster deal.
Orlando Magic superstar Dwight Howard has been lobbying to leave the Magic for quite a while, and trade rumors have continued to circulate in the NBA as rival general managers make new offers to land the talented big man. In the latest Dwight Howard trade rumor delivered by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Denver Nuggets have been named as a team engaged in talks for a blockbuster deal involving the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic.

All Howard trade scenarios have become increasingly complicated and now that the Brooklyn Nets appear to have moved on, so Denver's role in facilitating the deal is ultimately unknown. The logical landing spot for Howard is still with the Lakers, and Andrew Bynum is expected to be on the move in any such deal, but it's hard to see the Nuggets as anything other than a team dealing smaller pieces on the periphery. The Sixers may be open to dealing Andre Iguodala, and that would probably raise the stakes of the four-way deal considerably.
As Zach Lowe of SI.com points out, both the Sixers and Nuggets are pressing against the salary cap, so they can't just take on extra money in any big deal, either:
Both Sixers and Nuggets are capped out, so this potential four-teamer does not include a team with room to absorb extra $.
