Colorado State alumnus Martin Laird is hoping to make his mark at the 2012 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island's Ocean Course, but after a tough PGA season in major events it will be an uphill battle. Oddsmakers think Laird is an 80/1 shot to win the tournament, which puts him well behind favorites like Tiger Woods (7/1), Rory McIlroy (16/1), Luke Donald (22/1) and Lee Westwood (25/1).
Laird joins will be joined by Pat Perez and Corey Prugh in a trio for Thursday. Here is a look at the golfers given the top-10 odds to win the tournament as of Thursday (via Bovada).
