2012 PGA Championship Tee Times And Pairings

Martin Laird will be looking to make a splash at a major tournament for the first time in 2012.

Colorado State graduate Martin Laird doesn't exactly have a great history at the PGA Championship. Since 2007, when he first competed in the event, he's missed the cut in four out of five years. His best finish was in 2010, when he tied for 48th place. Laird has also had a rough go of it in majors so far in 2012. He missed the cut at the U.S. Open, and didn't finish inside the top 50 at the Masters (tied for 57th) or the British Open (tied for 72nd).

He will be looking to change all of that in one fell swoop at the 2012 PGA Championship, which takes place Aug. 8 through Aug. 11 at Kiawah Island near Charleston, South Carolina. First, obviously, Laird will have to make the cut, and his pairing for the first two rounds has been released: Laird will be playing with Pat Perez and amateur Corey Prugh. The trio will tee off at 5:30 a.m. MT on Thursday and 10:40 a.m. MT on Friday.
