Colorado State Signs TV Rights Deal With Denver Station

CSU's deal with 9News means that 11 of the Rams' 12 games in 2012 will be broadcast on television.

Colorado State football is begininning a new era under former Alabama assistant Jim McElwain, and now has a new platform to rebrand Rams football. CSU has announced a deal with Denver NBC affiliate 9News to carry Colorado State football broadcasts when the team isn't part of the Mountain West Conference's coverage on the Altitude and NBC Sports Network.

The move boosts CSU's TV exposure to 11 out of 12 games this season, with only one game (Sept. 15 at San Jose State) relegated to an online-only broadcast on ESPN3.com. 9News will broadcast seven CSU games (see below) on partner station Channel 20-KTVD, available across the state of Colorado. Before the deal, only four CSU games were slated for broadcast.

Nov. 10 UNLV 5 p.m. KTVD Channel 20

Nov. 17 at Boise State 1:30 p.m. NBC Sports Network

Nov. 24 New Mexico 5 p.m. Root Sports
