2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge Results: Tom Danielson Wins Stage 3; Christian Vande Velde Reportedly Takes Over Yellow Jersey

Boulder, Colo. resident Tom Danielson was the winner of Stage 3 of the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge on Tuesday, while Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda teammate Christian Vande Velde has reportedly overtaken the yellow jersey as the overall leader (via USA Pro Challenge on Twitter).

The final top-10 for Stage 3:

1. Thomas Danielson (Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda)

2. Damiano Caruso (Liquigas-Cannondale)

3. Jakob Fuglsang (Radioshack-Nissan-Trek)

4. Gavin Mannion (Bontrager Livestrong Team)

5. Janez Brajkovic (Astana Pro Team)

6. Andreas Kloden (Radioshack-Nissan-Trek)

7. Javier Gomez (EPM-UNE Cycling Team)

8. Ivan Rovny (RusVelo Cycling Team)

9. Christian Vande Velde (Garmin-Sharp-Barracuda)

10. Christopher Baldwin (Bissell Pro Cycling)

The race continues on Wednesday with Stage 4, which takes the competitors through a 97.2-mile stretch from Aspen to Beaver Creek. The action is scheduled to begin at 11:35 a.m. MT.
