Olympic Games 2012 Daily Preview: Missy Franklin Competes In Women's 100m Freestyle On Thursday

America loves Missy Franklin, and on Thursday the 17-year old from Denver will jump back in the pool to compete for another medal. Franklin has two gold medals to her name already and will get a chance to earn another in the women's 100 meter freestyle.

Franklin qualified with a time of 53.5, third best in the competition. Ranomi Kromowidjojo of the Netherlands had the top qualifying time of 53.05.

Men's basketball will also be in action as the U.S. takes on Nigeria. Nigeria is 1-1 after defeating Tunisia and losing to Lithuania.

Rowing will also hand out three medals on Thursday, with the women's eight finals, the men's lightweight four and men's double sculls each holding final heats.

Thursday will also see the men's singles gold medal match in table tennis.
