PGA Championship Leaderboard 2012: Tiger Woods Takes The Lead, Martin Laird Bogeys Twice

Colorado St. grad Martin Laird has fallen back to even after bogeying twice in the first nine. Laird entered the day with a 1-under score, and had he not birdied on Hole No. 2, he would have likely dropped further than No. 21 in the standings by now.

Meanwhile, Laird's groupmate -- Pat Perez -- started his day with a pair of birdies. The early success has helped buoy him into a tie for the No. 7 ranking with a 3-under total. Tiger Woods has jumped into the top spot with a 5-under score, but he still working through the front nine. Second place currently has a hotly contested five-way tie. Here's a look at the current standings:
