2012 Olympic Basketball Semifinal: Spain Vs. Russia: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The men's basketball tournament has reached the semifinal stage in the 2012 London Olympics, and while most of the attention will be showered on Team USA Basketball in their matchup against Argentina, the other side of the bracket boasts an interesting head-to-head between Spain and Russia. Pau Gasol, Rudy Fernandez and the rest of the Spanish team suffered a disappointing loss to Russia during group play, but the stakes are much higher this time around.

Vitaliy Fridzon led Russia with 24 points in the first head-to-head against Spain, but the Spanish team will also have to contend with Andrei Kirilenko and Timofey Mozgov, both of whom have played well throughout the tournament.

The winner of the semifinal matchup between Spain and Russia will take on the winner of the other semifinal game between Team USA Basketball and Argentina in the gold medal match set for August 12. Here is a look at the schedule for Friday:

Game date: Friday, August 10, 2012

Game time: 10 a.m. MT

TV: NBC Sports Network

Online: NBCOlympics.com

Location: North Greenwich Arena, London, England
