Colorado native David McKienzie prepares for the 2012 London Olympics after a long journey to the pinnacle of the sport.
Colorado native David McKienzie may have been a long-time pro and one-time member of the US National Volleyball Team, but the 33-year-old volleyball veteran is preparing for his first-ever Olympic games. Checking in at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, McKienzie originally joined the USA Volleyball team in 2001, but left the team after he missed the cut for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
In the Beijing Olympics, the US National Team took three golds and one silver, only failing to win the Women's indoor tournament. Here is a look at the full USA Volleyball Men's Team roster, courtesy of NBC:
