Stay connected for news and updates

The Oregon Ducks and the Kent St. Golden Flashes are a couple of non-traditional powers that are now just two wins away from a College World Series appearance. The Ducks earned the No. 5 national seed in this year's NCAA Baseball Tournament and host this weekend's best-of-three Super Regional.

Oregon had three players selected in the 2012 MLB Draft, including sophomore catcher Aaron Jones, who was taken by the Colorado Rockies in the 18th round. Jones is hitting .303/.382/.473 with six home runs and 39 RBI this season.

While the Ducks are among the best teams in the tournament and have home-field advantage, Kent State isn't going to make advancing easy. The Golden Flashes won a regional featuring host Purdue and a Kentucky team many felt deserved to host a regional, and they've won 20 games in a row overall.

Game Date & Time: Saturday, June 9, 9:00 p.m. MT

TV: ESPNU (Adam Amin and Paul Lo Duca on the call)

Online Stream: ESPN3
