Garmin-Barracuda Changes Team Name To Garmin-Sharp

John Henderson of the Denver Post is reporting that the Denver-based cycling team, Garmin-Barracuda, has changed sponsors and likewise changed names. The team is averaging over one name change per year, and the latest change comes as the Barracuda sponsorship drops from the title in favor of the tech company Sharp.

The new name, Garmin-Sharp, will accompany new team uniforms, to be unveiled before the Tour de France. The team has already announced its Tour de France roster and will otherwise not change: Despite dropping from the team name, Barracuda will not end its sponsorship of the club. It remains a so-sponsor of the team, as reflected by the new website logo at their homepage, SlipStreamSports.com:
