2012 US Open: Martin Laird Finishes Friday At 9-Over, Will Not Make Cut

Martin Laird finished Friday's second round with a two-over 72, but the Colorado State alum's first round 77 means he won't be making the cut at the 2012 U.S. Open. The cut-line is projected to be at five-over, as Laird finishes the tournament at nine-over overall.

Laird would certainly like a re-do on Friday. He was 5-over after just six holes and finished the day with two double-bogies.

Four players are currently under-par in the tournament, a group led by American golfer Michael Thompson. Thompson is one-over on Saturday through three holes, but still leads the field with a overall score of three-under. All eyes will be on Tiger Woods the rest of the day. Woods just teed off.
