2012 U.S. Open Odds: Other Players Closing In On Tiger Woods

Stay connected for news and updates

Tiger Woods entered the week as an overwhelming favorite to win the 2012 U.S. Open in San Francisco, but he's slowly losing his lead with oddsmakers as the week wears on. Another player dropping amongst oddsmakers is reigning champ Rory McIlroy, who began the week behind Woods in second place, but who has now slipped to fourth.

Colorado State grad Martin Laird has also dropped a bit, and is now being tabbed as a 100/1 favorite to take home the title. He's joined in those ranks by the likes of Ryo Ishikawa and Henrik Stenson.

Here are the top 10 favorites, courtesy Bovada:

  • Tiger Woods, 13/2
  • Lee Westwood, 11/1
  • Luke Donald, 11/1
  • Rory McIlroy, 14/1
  • Phil Mickelson, 20/1
  • Dustin Johnson, 25/1
  • Jason Dufner, 25/1
  • Justin Rose, 28/1
  • Matt Kuchar, 28/1
  • Adam Scott 33/1
